Getting ready to take your first hot yoga class?

We are so happy that you have taken this important step to improve your health and your life!

Please check out our FAQ’s for answers to common questions for first timers.

A few important things to remember before coming to class. Drink plenty of water throughout the day so that you’re well hydrated before coming to class.

Arrive 30 minutes early for your first class. You will need to fill out a registration form and a waiver.

Dress in light, comfortable clothes, like you’re going to the beach. No long sleeves or pants as they will get in the way of your practice.

You will feel challenged by the yoga. It is designed to make you work. Always work to your edge, but be mindful of what your body is telling you. Never push yourself to injury but always work hard. The goal of your first class is to stay in the room. You can sit down during the postures if necessary. Stay focused, non judgmental and jump back into the class when you are ready.

It is best to take your second class the next day. We encourage new beginners to come as much as possible in the first week.

Be sure to bring a Yoga Mat, Large bath towel, and a Large water (no glass please). We also have these items available to purchase or rent.

Always remember no shoes or socks in the yoga room
